Transwest Mongolia has traditionally organized "Komatsu Cup" football tournament among its clients every year for last four years. This years' tournament was held at a new green football field of Baga Tengeriin Am Sports Complex located in Bayanzurkh district on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Over 200 athletes from 12 teams representing the mining and financial sectors participated in the tournament. After competitive plays, Oyu Tolgoi Team won gold medal and the cup. Silver medalist was Khishig Arvin Industrial and bronze medalist was XacLeasing. The 4th place went to Shariin Gol.
Tranwest Mongolia's team, Komatsu, played very well in the Komatsu Cup and led the group however, in the elimination round our team played against one of the strongest teams, Shariin gol and lost in the match.
